Our Mission
Lifegate Services is a place where lives are touched and hope restored.
Lifegate Services was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 2014. It is a place where individuals of all ages, genders, races, and socio-economic statuses are welcome and served.
We serve residents of Olmsted County including seniors, people with disabilities, low-income families, racial/ethnic minorities and traditionally under-served communities.
Our Services
Lifegate Services provides the following services: monthly food supplementation, health education, and wellness program, immigrant support, and community referral services..
We do this by working and partnering with:
- Other community agencies.
- Government Institutions.
- Education Institutions
Lifegate Services has been offering monthly food distribution to the Rochester community since 2015. Lifegate Services organizes an annual Community Health Fair in partnership with SAGE of Minnesota and Mayo Clinic to provide free mammogram screening and echocardiogram for women ages forty and above. The Community Health Fair promotes and educates individuals of all ages and ethnic backgrounds about preventative healthy lifestyle habits. Also, it provides valuable referrals that connects individuals with accessible medical care, dental care, and health insurance assistance within the Rochester community.
Lifegate Services has partnered with Bridges Health of Winona State University to provide basic health care screening and checks for those coming to the food shelf, their families, and anyone in the community needing preventative care for FREE. Lifegate Services also provides free Clinical experience for Winona State University Nursing faculty and students.
Lifegate Services is funded through public support, grants and donations.
